Recent graduates of Beauty College can expect to earn $150 per day or more depending on the salon that they start working at and where it’s located. The key to success with working in the beauty field is knowing how and where to make the right connections so you can grow your career faster than you ever thought possible.

Social Media

The first step to making connections within the beauty field is by using the top social media websites to connect with other beauty professionals who live in your area online. Social media is a great way for you to find out where the best jobs are at and also to connect with possible private clients on your own as well too.

Networking

Depending on the city that you live in there are always plenty of conventions and trade shows that are being held throughout the year. This is one of the best ways to connect with the top professionals in your field because, people always attend trade shows to promote their products, services and network with other professionals.

If you have a tradeshow coming up and you are not feeling fully prepared or perhaps even if you are feeling nervous, a textbook on salesmanship may help. The right textbook can help build your confidence for the tradeshow and inform you of any tips for success you have not thought of yet. The right textbook can help you brush up on sales techniques and the steps necessary for a good display to succeed in your tradeshow. Bring the textbook with you to the tradeshow, you never know when you may have extra time to brush up and find more hints that are helpful.

Focus on the Display

When you use the textbook to brush up before the tradeshow, focus on your display for the tradeshow. Your display at the tradeshow will be the first thing about you potential customers will notice. Before the potential clients even make it over to speak to you, they have already begun to form judgments about your display setup. If the display is not attractive enough, many clients are going to be deterred from even coming over to speak with you about your services.

Sales Techniques to Make the Close

If your display does work in attracting people to your station, be sure to congratulate yourself. You want to be able to capitalize on these opportunities so having a solid sales technique is just as important as having a good display. Focus on textbooks that will help you improve your sales techniques by focusing fulfilling the needs of the customers. You can save money by finding many of these types of textbooks at the local library or a used bookstore. These days, you can even rent textbooks.

Using a textbook to brush up before a tradeshow can give you a serious advantage on the competition and make you the rock star back at the office with the boss. An assertive interest combined with a keen eye can find you the rented textbook to get the sales numbers you need at that tradeshow.

Trade shows are a rite of passage for any woman who works in the corporate world. A typical trade show involves meeting with customers, prospective clients, demonstrating products and exploring new solutions that will help a company to save time and money.

If you’re getting ready to attend your first trade show there are a few dress code rules that you should follow that will help you to be prepared for this important event.

Bra

Since tradeshows are typically full of business people you should be wearing a casual, non-revealing bra, such as a sassybax, that will help to give you the support and comfort that you need for a long day on the trade show floor.

Clothing

You should wear a business suit or business dress that is either blue or grey in color. Keep in mind that trade shows are full of conservative people and you want to dress accordingly to keep the minds of the men and women that you will be speaking with focused on business.

One thing that you never want to wear to a trade show is a pair of blue jeans, unless it’s the last day of the trade show and you know that everyone will be heading to the bar for cocktails after work is over.

Shoes

You’re going to be on your feet all day long at the trade show, even up to 10 hours or more, so it’s important to wear a pair of shoes that will be comfortable and yet look stylish at the same time. You should invest in a pair of dark leather shoes that will match your outfits, just make sure that you don’t wear white socks because, that’s a fashion no, no.

Accessories

Even though you might love wearing plenty of accessories during your regular day at the office it’s not a good idea to wear a lot of accessories during a tradeshow. You should keep your accessories simple and only wear things like a necklace, earrings and a watch so you can stay on time for appointments with clients.

Have you ever been to a trade show? These events are exciting. Walking in the door to see the merchandise displayed is a thrill. However, usually by the end of the day, exhaustion creeps in. This happens to most people – exhibitors and attendees. It’s part of the trade show experience. And one of the best ways to prevent over exhaustion is to dress properly, usually this means a men’s polo shirt. In addition, you will also want to dress for the trade show you are attending.

Dress Properly for a Trade Show

Let’s get one thing straight. A trade show is not a party. Yes it is fun. However, even if you are shopping, it will probably feel like work by the end of the day. What do you do more than anything at a trade show? No the answer isn’t shop. In fact, it’s WALK! You will walk and walk and walk some more. Be prepared. Comfortable shoes are key to the trade show experience. A good pair of shoes will ensure that you have a great day shopping, whereas a bad pair of shoes can ruin your day. In addition to your shoes, dress in clothing that you can move around in. Comfort is key. This does not mean you need to look frumpy. No one said show up in sweats! However, a light weight top, and comfortable pants are the best idea.

Dress for the Environment

Another important element to the trade show is to dress for the type of trade show you are attending. This does not mean you have to invest in new clothes. However, it does mean you should be aware of your environment. If you are at a fashion tradeshow, wear comfortable clothing that is fashionable so you look like you know what you are doing. If the trade show is for food, then fashion may not be as important!

At the end of the day, make sure you have fun and take a break if you need to.

There are good reasons not to pass up a stop in Kent if you are traveling to England. Kent has the longest coastline of any county in Great Britain(350 miles), it has more castles than any other county, it is the oldest county and is the largest area of semi-natural woodland of any county in England. Yes, there is much to see in the grand land of Kent. And as to be expected, there are many fine hotels; from luxurious boutique hotels, to less expensive, yet still quaint accommodations.

Where to Stay?

The Rose & Crown Hotel, located in the center of the historic town of Tonbridge, is a sturdy, historic Tudor building which was at one time a Coaching House. In fact, many parts of the hotel still have original oak beams and Jacobean paneling. The Rose & Crown has 56 bedrooms, each with unique style, from four-poster beds to spacious single bedrooms. All of the rooms offer; flat screen TVs with satellite, modem access and Wi-Fi and the good old trouser press and hairdryer.

If staying in grand old Canterbury, the Miller Arms Inn is a highly-rated hotel smack in the center of this historic city. All of the spacious and handsome rooms provide direct-dial phone, private bathroom, complimentary toiletries, desks and windows that open(thank you) and even cribs are provided if your traveling with the nippers. Close by is the Canterbury Cathedral, St. Martin’s Church and the Marlowe Theatre. And a golf course is never far away in Kent, or a hiking and biking trail.

If you are looking for a location that offers you the ability to see the many different sights of Kent, Elvey Farm is the best bet. Situated between Maidstone and Ashford along the M20. A hotel that offer unique rooms with all the amenities you come to expect, including bring along your four legged friend.

Modern Style

If you really want modern amenities, you’ll want to stay at The Carpenters Arms. This brand new hotel in Kent makes sure that it appeals to the modern traveler. All the rooms have LCD screens and Aqualisa Quartz power showers. Their top-class pub and restaurant has a stellar reputation in serving all the delectable English fare; smoked salmon, poached haddock and bangers and mash. The hotel is surrounded by lovely strolls and when you return from your jaunt, sit by the massive fireplace and have a glass of wine or a pint.

Yes the amount and variety of hotels in Kent are many, do your homework and should be able to find one that suites your tastes and budget.

If ever there was a vacation package tailored to suit the wants and needs of the 18- to 35-year old demographic, it’s the Contiki European Highlights Tour. It starts in Paris, with trips to all of the expected locations, but also including a Paris By Night sightseeing tour that comes complete with champagne and escargot. Beyond Paris, Contiki brings you to the world-renowned Beaujolais vineyards for tours and wine tastings, then on to the French Riviera and the ritzy casino atmosphere on Monte Carlo.

The Italian Job

While that might seem to be an entire vacation unto itself, the Highlights Tour only starts with France. The Italian leg of the trip includes a stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa (one of Europe’s most enduring and endearing symbols) and the beauty of scenic Florence before even getting to Rome, the heart of the world’s most significant and powerful empire. From the splendor of the Vatican to the unforgettable canals of Venice, Italy will forever remain in the hearts and minds of all who drink in the experience.

Birthplace of Legends

Europe’s Old World majesty is alive and well in the sprawling orchards and castles of Brenner’s Pass in Austria, a destination that includes a visit to the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. A more somber chord is struck when the tour makes a stop at Dachau, the former World War II concentration camp where so many lives were lost – something to mull over later on, while taking in Munich’s famous beer gardens.

The Highlights Tour wraps things up in glorious Amsterdam, complete with a tour of the canals and gable houses, where tourists can even take in one of the old windmills that still stands today as a testament to an ancient form of green energy. Winding up the tour with a trip to a Dutch cheese factory, and learning just how those wooden clogs are made, rounds out a journey that is equal parts romance, history and whimsy. Priced below $2000, it is a temptation that seems awfully hard to pass up.

Nobody loves and respects the umbrella more than the citizens of the United Kingdom. Throughout their lives they become familiar with two words; cloudy and soggy. And all great innovations in the umbrella universe usually begin in Great Britain or Scotland. It’s rare when during a British Open, that they don’t pull the ’bumbershoots” and “toppers” at some point. Yes golf, which got it’s birth in the land of the Scotch. Since golfers over there can’t pick and choose the days they play, in that, if you wait for good weather, you might be waiting awhile. And it was soon figured out that old classic black umbrella, preferred by nine out of ten evil nannies, was not up to the job for a round on the sea-side links. Hence, the birth of the golf umbrella. And as the game became more popular on television, the promotional U.K. golf umbrella soon found it’s way onto golfer’s bags and also carried by everyone in the massive galleries that follow their favorite players.

Be Ready

As any citizen of the U.K. can tell you, the weather can change in an instant, whether whipping up over the Irish Sea or the Atlantic Ocean. And often with the pounding rain comes the wind. It wasn’t a rare site to see one of these “kites in waiting” be ripped from the holder’s hand and go spinning off in the sky. That brought on the next beneficial feature; the vented golf umbrella. While no promotional umbrellas U.K. umbrella yet has been made that can withstand gale force winds, the vents in the golf umbrella can help a bit.

Hip and Quirky

Being the masters of the umbrella, all the fashionable, hip, styles of umbrellas come from “over the pond” as well. How about the ultra cool see-through bubble umbrella that Twiggy used to stroll under. Or the sleek black umbrella used in the show “Avengers”. this clever umbrella had more uses than just keeping the detectives dry.

The process of getting involved and playing this online site is easy. First, you fill out an application and soon after, you are able to place your bet. You can bet on WNBA, NCAA or NBA and sometimes the pre-season games.

The Odds When betting on Basketball

With basketball betting, the odds are often heightened or lessened by the morale of the team and finding out about injuries to the players. Betting lines—opinions given by some sportsbooks—go up and down routinely and can affect the betting and the odds of the game.

It has been said that those who bet against the NBA betting lines can make more money than betting in football because the NBA season goes on much longer. It is the high number of games that are played each day, that make wagering on basketball profitable and exciting for some. Online basketball betting is a great choice for those who want some extra fun and enjoyment in their life. If you can learn about the teams, understand the dynamics of the game and play the cycle, this game can be profitable and fun.

When to Play?

With this online game it helps to know that the important games occur in the spring and summer, while the amateur sports finals occur in March—better known as March Madness. Basketball creates quite high amount of March Madness betting because this is the college finals event.

So, if you’re looking for a fast and enjoyable game, you might want to check this one out! As always, learn about the “rules of engagement” of the game, get registered and then play the game.
