Business convention is important to all, especially to the businessman. But even if you’re not a businessman yet, you can still attend a convention. And because, for some conventions can be an important opportunity to meet other business owners, vendors, consultants, and experts in the field. Don’t forget to keep track of how many contacts you actually make at each convention by collecting business cards. Most business professionals attend at least one business convention a year. You might attend many more than that depending upon your position and the industry you’re in. So, plan ahead to get the most out of your next convention. Review all of the workshops and plenary sessions and decide which ones you should attend. But if you don’t plan ahead, you run the risk of wasting time and missing out on valuable contacts and presentations.
